Chalet with my colleagues
Itz been a long time since my last chalet or bbq. Of cos i am excluding all the trips....Yesterday, me and GF met at Kallang MRT to take a cab down to our chalet @ ECP. Reached our chalet @ arnd 4PM and we went out to rent bicycle for an hr.... but i nv did get to ride my bicycle in peace... Cycled less than 5 mins, TL called and said that she arrived already and was standing outside the chalet.. I was real glad tat she was here early cos I really need helper to help me carry the stuffs man.. As i was ready to ride again.. the BBQ Caterer called me and asked me to check the Carpark No... Alamak.. i thought he shld know leh.. since mine is so distinct... the carpark outside the Chalat mah.... Bo bian, ride the bicycle back to the chalet and walked to the carpark with TL. cos we need to wait there and collect the stuffs also... As for GF, we got her to stay in the chalet to look after the stuffs and also the bicycles..
Me and TL walked to the carpark to wait for the caterer... hmm... here comes the funni part... When the caterer reached, he brought out 2 big boxes, 2 plastic bags of stuffs... 1 small box of charcoal and 1 wire mesh... TL said that she will bring the charcoal and wire mesh back... and come bk to help me with the rest... and i was there waitin for her as well as checking whether the stuffs delivered was correct anot.
After a while, GF came.. and she was laughing woh.. asked her why and she said that TL was real cute... She said that TL went bk to the chalet and was complaining that she was very tired carrying all the stuffs... GF thou that she carried alot and looked out of the window, and she only spotted 1 small box and 1 wire mesh... muhahahaha....
anyway, it was lucky the deliveryman was willing to help me with 1 box.. so me and GF carried the other box and the 2 plastic bags... After getting all the food, me and GF cont with our cycling which was only left with 20 mins... back to our chalet and Lai and his family were already there... YC was also there already.... we started the fire and everyone reached.... DT and some of them said that the food was not enu.. and it seems ex leh.. so little and yet we paid so much... Aiyo.. these ppl sometimes really abit hard to please... I had done up not alot but still quite a no of times of BBQ and i know that it is never never wise to order too much... cos we nv finished the food... that is why i nv order alot... to them it may look little.... but then like what i had predicted, we really could not finish the food... it was lucky that the food we left are nt alot... else it will really be wasting... then some commented that the food nt nice ... blablabla... gee... catering leh.. wat to expect.... everyone wants cheap and nice...keep asking me to keep within the budget... as low as possible... then still wan to have alot of food, still dun wan so much work and still wan the food to be good.... AIYO... where to get this kinda of deals...sometime organizing is such a hastle.. that why i dun really like to org and yet they always like to make me org.... Pengz!!!
Anyway, juz let me "Fa Lao Shao" abit here.. cos i need to balance up here man...
Anyway, the bbq went on quite well... had fun and laughter... played with Lai's daughter... and had a game or 2 together and most of them went back.. leaving only me, CC, YC and GF staying.... Lai cooked all the stuffs cos he was afraid that we will be hungry.. but then, actually we were not...
YC said that she could nt sleep at other plc that why she eventually went bk at 2 pluz... whereas me, GF and CC went to the beach to walk... it was a real pity that i did not get a bike overnight.. cos it would have even better to cycle in the night esp in ECP... anyway, it was nice having a nice stroll in the mid of the night.... with so little ppl in the park... enjoyin the breeze.. and relaxing... and chit chatting...
Went bk to the chalet and 3 of us lay on the bed and chit chat on the bed... til 4 pluz then we knocked out.. actually i nv really slept well.. and i woke up early too... the 2 of them too... and we checked out early too.. cos there are simply nothing to eat... Wat a plc...
