2nd day Diving Trip
Woke up early in the morning @ 8.15am.. Had a shower before i go for my breakfast... sounds funni cos goin into the water liao ... still shower for wat??? but i bui tahan leh...Went for breakfast... me and ahhuang seems to be the 1st one to reach... After that everyone of us started to reach as well...Hmm ... the food was not bad... and FYI, we are the only grp in the whole resort... tat means we had the whole resort to ourself for the whole 2 days... :P Steady rite??
@ 10am, we went to the swimming pool for our confined dive session... saw our equipments were layed out nicely set by set.... looking for our own gears... and the 1st thing my DI asked us to do was to wear our wet suit in the pool.... cos it is easiler to wear in there.... Had a hard time getting the suit on.. and after zipping it, it was so tight... thou it was the wrong size... but then my DI said that it is normal to be tight, so that it will keep us warm...
After our suits were all on, we started to go thru the steps in setting up our tank and BCD... and OMG!!! the tank weights 15KG!!! pluz 3 KG weight for me and the BCD... seems to weight alot too... mayb est it to b 2KG... after setting up and wearing the whole gear.... i think i am carrying a whole weight of 20KG... and we not only looked like frogs!!! We even walked like turtles.... hahahaha... Luckily we wear our BCD with tank in the water... so it is quite weightless... Learned the skills required in the water... for eg. Clearing mask, removing mask, pivoting, controling bouncency....blablabla...learnt til 1pm and we had our lunch....
After the lunch, we proceed to the open water.... 1st 2 dive.... Ermm.. was sweating.. cos the water seems choppy... and rough... cos it was goin to rain.. Heard from my DI that these few wks , the island had been goin thru early monsoon weather.... Ermm... heard this and seen the water and it really seems scary...1st 2 dives were shore dive... we had to carry our tank, weared our fins and walked backwards towards the sea.... Once we reached the sea, we started to fin ourself out towards the float and rope that my DI had laid... 7 of us hanging on to the rope... Itz was quite a terrible feeling... cos sea was quite rough... of cos tat is pertaining to our standard... To our DI & ADI, itz chicken feet...
1 by 1, DI brought us down to the bottom of the sea... which was like 5m... Shoko was 1st, followed by me and ahhuang, sally and adrian, winnie and ebby...As I was the 2nd one to go down... I waited for quite some time and in my heart i was pretty worried... cos the scene i saw was nt wat i had always imagine.... the water was real choppy... visibility is only 1m... I can only see shoko and ahhuang on my side... i cannot see any fishes at all.... current was kinda of strong at the bottom... and i was already thinking... "what if i release the rope? Where will I float to?" We were almost down there for an hr.... and i was already starting to feel cold... After everyone was down, and my DI saw that we could show him the skills that we are supposed to do in the sea, he took us up the sea 1 by 1.... and we hang there again....at the top, then i realized that ahhuang had vomited 5 times on top and at the bottom of the sea.... Adrian was worst hit.. He and sally saw the process and the things that came out also.... Gee... funni thing is tat i am ahhuang's buddy and yet i nv saw her threw up leh....
We really wanted so much to go back to the shore, but then we had to complete 2 dive for the day... No choice, DI said that we juz go down 1 more time and touch the ground can liao... Well... I thou that will be real fast.... but then.... eventually, he still brought us down 1 by 1.... and we were down there for an hr again.... Signz!!!
When we were up to the surface, it seems like it juz rained heavily... and it is goin to rain again.... we were told to follow the rope and swim back to the shore again.... at 1st, ahhuang was the last one, but then when i saw her kinda of stone liao... i think she vomited too much.. i asked her to go in front of me... and i ended up as the last one... At this kinda of weather, being the last one seems so scary.... but then i juz hanged on and moved on,...... tried not to think too much.... while i was swimming back to the shore... it juz seems that i am not moving, even thou i was finning so hard.... eventually, i bui tahan and wave my hand to get help liao... Ebby saw me and thou wat happen to me .. eventually she held on to my hand and we finned back.... Finally, we reached the shore.... It was such a relieve!!!! We were so tired after the 2 dive... and we still had to pack our equipments in the rain.... After packing up, we took some photos....
On our way back, HuiTze and Ai Hui told us that there was a hatchery and there was a big container of 2 days old turtles... which the villagers rescused... they intended to release the turtles .. and we intended to help them to release on the night itself....
Back to the room...Me and ahhuang went to take our shower...and i really was so tired that i had no strength to go for my dinner....On the bed, ahhuang told me that she really feel so sicked in the sea and she felt that she wanted to fail the diving.... hearing these, i also had the same feeling also.... cos it was nt that fun afterall... Called my mum and I told her how tired I was... and she told me nt to go for the dive the nxt day....
Went for the dinner, and my front teeth were aching due to biting the regulator to hold it in my mouth.. Had such a hard time eating... Worst still, i was starting to have a headache, body aching and blocked nose... and I had a theory exam somemore...
After the dinner, me, ahhuang, winnie followed Huitze and Aihui to release the turtles.. However, it started to rain and we had no choice but to abort the idea. Stayed for quite sometime, but then had to go back for exam... Eventually, we rushed back.... Having a spilt headache... with a tired body... I really could not think.... especially calculating those calculation questions.... Eventually, we cheated... :P Got the answers from the rest and passed... got 40/50.... which i passed by 2 marks... But i was really thinking of whether to go f or the nxt 2 dive anot... Got painkiller from DI and we went to bed straight after that....
Somehow, i could not fall asleep immediately.. even thou i was real tired.... the moment i closed my eyes... I start to think abt the scene in the afternoon... and i can even imagine that i was still breathing thru the regulator... Cham!!! This is really a nightmare.....
