3rd day of Dive....
Woke up @ 6.15am in the morning... and while i was washing myself when i realized that I did not took out my contact lens yesterday.... Gosh!!!! So Jialat... Thinking that I am still going into the water later... I decided to continue wearing the lens....Woke ahhuang up and she washed herself up also... me with a little blocked nose.... was still thinking whether i shld proceed with the dive.... The following 2 dives are boat dive.... Went for breakfast, and cute ahhuang gets smarter liao... she ate real little.... cos she was afraid that she will vomit again... secondly, there were hotdogs, which she hates the most...
After the breakfast, my blocked nose got better and i decided to proceed on... thinking that it was just 2 more... Once done, i will be certified.... After changing into my wetsuit, we proceeded on to the jetty to take the boat.... Weather looks so much better in the morning.. water looks calmer but then it still doesn't seems clear from the surface... The moment we boarded the boat, ahhuang started to feel sick...and vomited again....nw then we know that she suffered from seasickness....
it was a 15 mins boat ride... and we reached the other side of the island....worn our gear and we were prepared to jump down... this time, the 3rd dive was to do a giant strike.... ADI demo and showed us.... we had to jump down from the back of the boat and swim to the side of the boat.... I was the 2nd one to jump... and gosh!!! The 1st step is always the most difficult to start.... Taking all the courage, i jumped down.... Yes... i did hit the water... but then water went into my nose and mouth too... It was so horrible... made me feel so terrible... was coughing all the way... but i still managed to swim to the side of the boat.... One by one, they jumped down... and as usual, we were hanging in the water again.... Signz!!! This time rnd, i really saw ahhuang vomit in action and she was really feeling terrible... DI took us down 1 by 1
On my way down, my DI pointed a little fish hanging arnd the rope.... it was cute... when i reached the bottom, i saw a hard coral... woh!!! althou not very clear, but still i was amazed!!! then i saw a black fish swimming arnd it... Woh!!!!When everyone was down... DI asked us to swim to the other side... and something terrible happens to me... The moment i let go of the rope.. i lose control of my bouncey and i went up.... to the surface of the sea... Damn!!! no one saw me went up... tat was terrible.. cos i cannot go up too fast .. at this speed, i was so worried that i might ruptured my lungs.... When i reached the surface, i was really relieved that i was fine... but then came the 2nd worry, i was at the surface alone, no one knew that i went up... and the boat was nowhere to be seen and the shore was so super far away.... DAMN!!! HOW??? Eventually, i decided to swim towards the float and rope that we were lead down originally.... It was really tiring to swim... and it was quite far also.... while swimming there, I heard my ADI calling me... I was really relieved.... when i reached him... i was really really glad... he asked me how was i... and after assuring that i was fine, he brought me down again....when i reached the group... my DI was asking Ebby who was beside me to show him the skills... after tat he came to me.. and i can still rem him taking out his regulator and signalling to me what happen to me... i gave him a signal back that i dunno too.... he gave me a smile and put back his regulator and asked me to show him the skills.... while everyone was showing him the skills, I was looking around and i saw a few fishes swimming arnd... i was really happy... although visbility was only 5m... I was still glad that i saw a few fishes... which is so much better than yest... after everyone showed him, he brought us back to the surface.... and we boarded the boat again... Going up the boat was so difficult... cos the tank is so heavy....but we all managed to go up...and change our tank.
Everyone asked me what happen juz now, and i told them what happened... after that, i told my DI to make sure that I do not shot up again at my 4th dive.... Ahhuang was feeling really terrible.. and when we were preparing to go for our forth dive... she told DI that she wanted to give up and fail... cos she is really feeling so terrible and weak.... DI told her that staying on the boat will make it worse for and he assured her that she will feel better underwater.... She finally agreed to go for the 4th dive... Our final one....
This time rnd, we do a back roll.... Like i always say, the 1st step is always so difficult to start... I was so worried that I will end up with my leg up and my head down after i jump down... but my DI assured me that I will be fine...1 hand holding on to my mask and regulator, the other hand hold on to the meter and weight belt... I roll over... and there i go.. into the water.... This time rnd i feel that it was so easy man.... Gee... I prefer to the backroll better than giant strike...
As usual, 1 by 1 we jumped down... this time rnd, we went down the rope together... and lined up again under water.... This time rnd, we performed the skill one by one...and we completed all the skills.... Woh!!! I was really feeling so happy... and i was thinking when can we go up... My DI and ADI was taking photo of us.... one by one... buddy shots... and he brought a black sea cucumber and let us touched it..... after that he brought another white one... which i eventually know that it was a sea cucumber also.. jus that it was another species only....
Eventually we all went up the boat... we all feel so happy cos we finally passed our diving... and we are certified open water diver from now..... While packing our gears, we were all happy smiling and taking photos.... as for ahhuang, she was still feeling so terrible... and she could not smile at all.... I think she felt weak also... but then when we hit the jetty... she felt better.... Everyone of us went to take our shower and lunch... and we took our ferry at 1.15pm... On our way back in the ferry, we were busy taking photos... having funs... chitchating.... Reached Mersing.. and we bought ramy burgers.... Gee... i can finally eat in peace.... Although i was tired... but i could not sleep in the mini bus either..... by the time we reached Spore, it was 7 pluz already.. we spent some time in stardus to write our dive log.... and we all went home....
