Trekking at Central Catchment Nature Reserve
Today early in the morning.. MT, Ivy and me went to Macritchie Reservoir to trek. Today was like party for the wild man... This is the 2nd time i went for the trek. Mayb this time rnd, i learned to appreciate the nature environment... walking and looking arnd to spot for creatures.. Well, b4 the trek, i spotted an iguana, squirrel and a few monkeys.... and a lizard that simply bo chap when MT touched its tail...Through the trek, Ivy was taking photo thru out the whole trekking. we happen to pass by the golf course, saw the ctry club staff riding the buggy and feeding the turtles in the reservoir... Ivy, interested with the idea of feeding the turtles, rushed over to get the bread from the staffs.
Then something funni happened, me was holding on to the last piece of bread. MT squatting down beside me. Then 1 hand was holding the bread, the other hand of mine was throwing pieces of the bread to the turtles... then sudd someone took my bread away. At that pt of time, only MT was beside me. 1st thou that comes to my mind... "Why MT take my bread?". Next moment, i turn my head, i saw a monkey standing in between me and MT... and i let out a scream!!!... Giving MT and Ivy a shock! Then after i scream, then MT realized that there was a monkey beside her.... And she let out a scream also... I think those playing golf arnd us must be laughing away.... As for the 3 of us, we were laughing away as well.. :P 1st time of such close encounter with a monkey... MT told me tat after the 2 of us let out the scream, the monkey looked at us in a bewildered look... Hahahaha.... i think it must be thinking "These 2 woman xiao liao... i only take ur bread. Scream for wat?"
After this incident, we cont with our little journey to the treetop... and ermmm.. kinda of suai also.. cos the weather shows sign of shower... and it really did man... I have only 1 umbrella and there are 3 of us... so eventually, 2 of them long bang their things in my haversack and i hold the umbrella. Whereas the 2 of them walked in the rain. We crossed the treetop in the rain... This was MT 1st time man.. and she was abit fearful of the height and me? keke.. i was trying to make the bridge shake... to scare her... :P
Eventually, we did nt finish the full track... 10 KM... we exited thru venus drive cos we feel that the track will b too slippery to walk already. On our way out, we saw a big leave and took photo with it. Kinda of lame.. but it is interesting... :P
Duration of trek? 10.20AM to almost 3pm.
Proceeded to AMK for lunch... gee... i shld say it is high tea man... at the hawker centre.. :P Actually it is late lunch. Jalan here and there til 5 pluz then we went bk... by the time i reached hm... was so tired... took my shower and surf web for a while.... went to bed and zzz til 10 pluz ... and had my late dinner... Nw i still feel tired.. think i wanna go zzz liao...
PS: Now i know how to go to S11 in AMK liao... hahahaha
