Tioman Diving Trip 20th - 22th Apr 07
A trip that I had been waiting with excitement and yet fear.. cos it had been 9 mths since my OWDC. Well, I am back safe and sound... same goes to my Dear Dear and frens.. except for Yiwan Jie2 who had injuries. Minor ones but still must take care man...20th Apr 07

On the 20th, we waited for the van to pick us up at 8.30PM but it was late. Late for more than 1/2 hr. When the van came, I almost wan to faint. 2 vans only and it was almost packed. Not good man.. How to squeeze? Haiz.. no choice but we had to squeeze loh. Reached Kota Tinggi at had our little supper there.. Ok.. I must say that the satay is real good... so much yummy and cheaper than those in Lau Pat Sat... After supper, reached Timotel Hotel at around 1am and we had our night there.

On the 21th, early in the morning, we reached the jetty at arnd 8am, but we could not move on as the tide was low, out of prediction. Waited for 1 hr before we are ready to move out. Had our 1st dive at arnd 11.30am. It was not smooth man.. cos I never learnt to free fall during my OWDC and i was not good at bounancy at all. Could not even sink and Dear was having a hard time to make me come down and also at the same time, tryin not to lose Yvonne as she kept wondering away. Eventually, he gave up and told stop the dive. He was so stressed out from this 1st dive as he did not expect that i cannot control my bounancy. Well, i was disappointed as well. But then it is indeed the fact that i cannot control my bounancy. But then i am happy for the fact that the water here is so much better than Tinggi and i can see alot of fishes in the water.... and i also saw the Crown of Thorns, a kind of starfish which will eat up the corals. So experience divers who are so much in love with the sea will always kill it when they saw the Crown of Thorns.
After the 1st dive, Victor was nice enough to provide us with a free lesson for our bounancy. Gee. He is a really good instructor and i really appreciate his teaching. Manage to control my bounancy better and I can fin better as well. So this is our 2nd dive loh... our training... :D
3rd dive was quite late and they even term it as sunset dive... From having lights in the water til having almost no lights. This time round, I kept holding to Dear Dear, cos i was real scared that i will lost control of my bounancy again. But so far so good. I saw lots of fishes... Nemo in their little houses... :P Lots of sea cumumbers, Sea urchins... Parrot fishes.... I kept looking out for Trigger fish but i cannot find any leh.. When it was almost dark, the water gets colder and colder.. i am already starting to shiver already. Finally we are done with our 3rd dive but with abit of injuries. I got stung by the corals on the arms. Look like mozzie bites but it was minor. Ahhuang and Yvonne got stung and scratched by the corals on the leg and well, abit more serious but with the medicines, they are fine too. We bathed and had our splendid dinner... with Lobsters, crabs, prawns, squids, noodles, fried rice, chicken wings, hotdogs and fish... all bbq styled...at a rate of 45 rmb. Cool price rite?? Gee... we are the lucky group who had such good food. The rest? Well, they opt for their own choice of food. After dinner, me and dear dear went for a short walk.. Gee.. Looks like honey moon like tat... hahahaha... Really a v nice walk at the beach.. stepping on the fine sand... looking at the stars..... I really enjoy that moment... seldom we had this kind of romantic moments. After the walk, we went bk to our room and KO! slept til the nxt day...

On the 22th, we had our breakfast and after that our 4th dive. This is indeed a good dive. During this dive, i kept holding to dear dear arm, and i saw lots of fishes. This time round. Lagi best... I saw a black tip shark which dear dear said that i was such lucky.. cos he had been diving at tioman for so long, he had never seen 1 yet. Only got to see it at perhentian nia... From my position, that shark is the size of an arm. but dear said tat actually tat shark was v close to a gal diver who also just passed out her OWDC as well and that shark was the same size as tat girl. OMG.. tat means same size as me loh... That is super big loh... and the funni part is that Dear saw that the girl was panicking when the shark swam v close to her... and her buddy was busy calming her down... kekeke.. i missed that part cos i was busy lookin at the shark. Too bad that ahhuang and yvvone nv got to see that shark cos yvonne kanna stung by the sea uchins on the palm and they went up earlier.. Poor her... i think more than 10 stungs on her right palm, but she still can b happy go lucky...
On the 5th dive, we still proceed on... this time round, dear dun let me hold on to him anymore, cos he wanted me to be independent in the water. Well, this time round, i can control my bounancy better liao... Well, i still saw small fishes nia... As for dear, he said he saw a black tip shark again... and also a baracuda... hmm.. i nv saw it leh.. but i think i will freak out if i saw a baracuda.... hahahahaha....
Overall, this is a really good trip. although there are lots of problems here and there.. but i still learn from this lesson. If you ask me whether i will go diving again. Well, i will man.. but of cos i muz have $$. I think my dear is targetting perhentian.... hmm... i think it is more stressful this time round.
I do not have any photos underwater.. so hee... make do with those that i had now.. :P
