Map Dot Finger Dystrophy....I AM BROKE!!!
Today is pretty tiring for me cos i had been running around since early in the morning and they are all related to checkup.Since i am waitin for my bf, might as well blog .. :P
I just came bk from 2 checkups. 1 is a full body checkup which is the 1st time of my entire life.. well, nothing much on this.
In the afternoon, i went for a eye checkup as I had been sufferring from blur vision since 2 wks back. Went to the spec shop twice and eventually they asked me to go and have a checkup on my eye before they confirm the prescription. Actually the whole prob is with my right eye. After a check with the spec shop twice, they deduced that my degree dropped from 175 to none. and from no astigmatism to having 200 astigmatism which is too adnormal.
So here i am, reached the Singapore National Eye Centre at 1.30 for the walk in appt, and i have to wait at least 1 to 3 hrs starting from 2pm. Haiz, no choice lah.. i wan to settle this asap, so i bear with all the waiting. Taking tests here and there and the doctor said that I had Map Dot Finger Dystrophy which could be inborn in me already and i might have inherit it from my parents. OMG!! nv even heard of this before. Doc said that it is not serious but then i might wan to go back and have a check up if i have eye pain. She also said that this dystrophy is also the cause of my adnormality of the sudden drop in degree and sudden increase of the astigmatism. Now i have to go back every year for checkup.... Ok... the whole cost.... $125
After the checkup, i wanted so much to take train to toa payoh to make my new spec, but then due to the solution that they put into my eyes to dilute the conear for checkup. that is why i had blur vision even with my spec on.. and it is even worst with the sunlight... eventually, i took a cab down... $10 bucks flew off
Reached the shop, the kind boss lets me exchange my unused box of contact lens for my new specs... and he gave me 30% discount on the frame as well... and i got myself a transition lens as well. Therefore, the whole thing cost me #260...
In short... i spent so much man.... i wan to faint liao... hope i can claim the $125 from my co. but that will means that i muz not fall sick so often liao cos i only have 200 bucks per yr.
Today is a day that is spend money day... Haiz.... poor me....
