Damn tat bloody Acting Guy!!!
Today I received a stupid email from my stupid user's IT dept's Acting Director ... . The content is as belowHi Penelope,
I understand there are times where you will need to patch the system. Please take note that as of today, we will only allow a maximum of 1 patch / updates per day. And for 1 week, there should be only a maximum of 3 updates allowed. Please consolidate all your change requests and send a single update per week if possible. This is a preferred approach for us. Unless, the patch is a critical patch, we will not permit them if the patch limits are reached. Please also provide in MS word document for each update or patch, and indicate clearly the changes done to the system in point form. We need this to ensure we dont run into major risks where patches cause problems to other parts of the modules. (Worst case only) Please keep me in the loop for all updates.
Damn... Does this guy belong to the software world anot... The system juz ran live leh... of cos got fixes here and there wat!!! when everything stabalized, of cos i would not get his guy to help me update wat!!!! I also paiseh to always ask his Network guy to help... but sometimes also bo bian mah.... Netmeeting dun allow.... now program update also wan to limit... DAMN!!!!

Nvm.. it give me a chance to do my fixes slowly loh... any thing i juz tekan him bk say he wan to control mah....

Then when you reaches the limit for the week, don't do anymore patches lor. If got error, just say the limit is 3 per week. Too bad.
