Redang Trip 2008
I had just came bk from Redang Diving Trip during the Labour Day long weekend. This trip is certainly a good trip... a very nice place... much nicer than Tioman. However, the journey there is really a killer... it took us almost 12 hours of coach journey to reach the Merang Jetty and another 35 to 40 mins boat journey.During the trip, we had got ourself a very good dive guide who had 17 yrs of diving experience. A nice guy and full of "craps"... hehehe.. not really craps la.. juz that he is very fun loving and really made our dive trip an enjoyable one.
During the whole trip, i had seen almost all those sea creatures that I was supposed to see. For example, Black Tip Shark, Sea Turtle, Lotz of Nemos, Barracuda, Trigger fish in action, Sea Snake, Humphead shark and Morey Eel... Thru this trip, i had gained lotz of experiences on the diving trip and it will definitely helps me alot for the nxt one.
The resort i went to was called Redang Kalong. A nice and serene place and a diver's paradise. It is well known for the excellent services rendered to the divers... Although recreation was at its minimum. However, it is certainly very nice to enjoy the quietness once in a while.
We even went to the other side of Redang whereby the movie of MoMo Tea was filmed. The little journey to the other side of Redang was indeed a scary one cos we had to pass by the patch of small forest and a small stretch of beach.... Morning was still alright.. but night time was real scary..... luckily we had 2 guys with us...
Given a chance, we will definitely go Redang again... and of cos request Tim to be our dive guide again.... He is really cool....!!!!
We took lotz of photos and i am still consolidating. Once it is ready, i will post it up online for u guys to ccll.
