My 1st time of Blood Donation....
Yeah... today i went for my 1st blood donation @ the BloodBank..Suppose to meet ahhuang at the outram mrt station tat is facing the HSA... but gosh!! i took the north east line... therefore, when i came out of the exit... i was facing the police cantoment complex... Haiz... walked 1 big round b4 i met up with ahhuang... And we walked to the Bloodbank. Joy2 was already there waiting for us.... Hiak!!! When we went in, 1st thing i saw was a gal fainted and she was on that bed.... OMG!!!! I haven even donate blood and i see such a scene liao.. :S
Off we went for our registration and doctor's checkup. After the checkup, we proceed to the place where the blood donation is.... Ermm.. 1st time woh, and i dun really like the idea of injections... I dunno wat made me have the courage to donate blood... but then somehow, i am there..
I did not really dare to look at the anthestatic when they are poking tat into me.... ermmm... scary... and it did hurt... but juz a while nia.... then i keep telling the nurse tat "please make sure that i am totally numb before u insert tat big needle into me" ... but seems like she somehow ignore me.. Hee.... Jialat man.... But then, i did watch that big needle went into my arm... Woh!!!! it does not hurt at all!!!! Hiak....
Donation was fast... in no time, the bag was full already... and i rested for 10 mins before i was allowed to come down from the bed. Poor ahhuang could not donate cos the nurse said that her veins was too thin... therefore, she was rejected from donation. Their advise to her... Exercise more and her vein will be thicker.. hmm....
After joy2 is done, we went to the refreshment section and we had our drinks and we chit chat til almost 3.30pm before we parted...
