My 1st Rafting Trip (2nd Day)
While uploading the rafting photos... let me cont with my stories for the rafting trip... Day 2....Early in the morning @ 5am... Me and my sis woke up and clean ourselves up before goin to winnie's room for breakfast... Gave Dicky and Kevin a morning call before we went up... Had bread with cheese & ham.... After that we went to the lobby and meet up with the rest @ 6.30am....
Off we went for our journey to the raft site.... on our way there, i heard from joyce that our driver, Mr Bathu was almost falling asleep while driving... gave a shock for us... and poor joyce and kevin had to keep talking to Bathu to stop him from sleeping...
Finally, we reach the destination and picked Mr Yoo up and we proceed to the rafting site.... Reached there... settled the payment and we started our orientation... After the orientation, we carried our raft to the rafting site... Oh my!! the raft is real heavy.... we saw the rushing water... keke... it looks interesting and exciting.... then the guide said that we can try to body raft down.... gee.... so we tried that... oh my... water came splashing to my face even thou my body is floating face up.... but it was real exciting!!! then one of the guide shouted out "ROPE"... and i was looking around for him to throw the rope to me...... 1st time was real scary....
After that when everyone had already completed their body raft, we started to get into our raft and here we go.... our rafting finally started..... Red Team : Me, Kevin, Dicky, Sheena, Meow and Winnie with our guide, Mr Surin.... Yellow Team : Ahhuang, Zheng Zi, Joyceln, Siew Lee and Wayne with their guide Mr Yoo... with the signal "Forward", "Back" and "Hold"....we followed closely so as nt to fall off the raft.... and there were times whereby we were using our oars to splash water to the other team.....and vice versa.... Then there were a few occasion whereby our raft got stucked and we would have to "Over Left" or "Over Right".... then there are 1 or 2 occasion whereby we have to "sit in" so that we will not be throwed out of the raft when there is a little fall...
While our raft was beside the yellow team.... i saw real action whereby ahhuang was thrown out of the raft.... and we saw Mr Yoo's heroic act... it was real amazing!!!!
We had a few breaks in the middle of the raft.... having some fruity bars and apples and drinks.... and we also body rafted a few times..... This time round, i am able to use the swimming skill i learn during lesson to swim to the shore..... then came my sister.... she body rafted and she was at the other side of the shore... and she cannot swim well also... so eventually, kevin and Mr Yoo swim over to bring her over.....
Eventually, we finished our raft at arnd 2 pluz... and we had to carry our raft back to the shore... oh my... it was real heavy... kevin was so tall and i was behind him.... he put the raft on his shoulder... and for me.. that will be on top of my head...
Then after taking out our gears... Mr Woo showed us the rubber plantation... and the wild orchid.... it was real nice....then eventually we took the ride back to the place where we started our rafting.... Cleaned ourself up as we are covered with sand.... and had our lunch.... took a couple of photos... and finally we went bk to the hotel...
We washed ourself up and after that we meet up together and proceed to makan.. whereby we had Bak Kut Teh... as usual.. it was also raining.....seems like it had been raining for a couple of days....
After makan, we spilted up.. some went shopping at petalling street... then Me, Sheena, Kevin and Dicky went for foot reflexology.... and we forgot abt ahhuang... she told us to meet at the lobby and we forgot abt it... Jia Lat....After the message, we went bk to our room... and later meet up at winnies room cos Kevin bought mangos... and he cut for us to eat as well.... Soooo nice of him......
Then we started our pillow fight and what is worse is that Kevin release German Gas!!!! Everyone of us retreated out of the room to get fresh air..... then the fight still cont.... until everyone cmi liao... Ahhuang was trying to sleep but we keep waking her up.. eventually she cannot tahan and slept sitting up.... :p
Eventually, almost all slept except winnie, kevin, me, dicky and meow... Winnie wanted to go out in the mid of the night... but i dun wan leh.. eventually , we gave up that thought and we played 7-upz instead.....
Eventually, the guys KO... followed by us.... at arnd 2 pluz in the morning.. the guys woke up and went to their room to sleep... whereas me and my sis just slept in winnie room...
