1st Year Anniversary
21st August 2007 marked the day of me and dear dear's 1st year anniversary which is of cos the day we 1st hold hands... Actually i had been counting down to this very day from a few months back and i had been looking forward to this very day as well.
This time round, he brought me to Jack's Place and we ordered the following which are all recommandation from YC.
- 1/2 dozen oysters (yum yum.. my all time fav)
- lobster bisque for both of us
- Jack's special steak medium(for me)
- Black pepper steak medium (for dear dear)
- Mixed juice (for dear dear)
- Orange Lime with Aloe Vera Juice (for me)
I must say that both of us enjoyed the oysters so much cos it was really fresh. Last time, my dear dear doesn't really enjoy oysters cos his first encounter with oyster was the big and fat canadian oyster which makes him feel so "er xin".. and the oysters that we have during the international buffets all have a fishy smell which turn him off too.. but this time round, he only have thumb up for the oysters.
Then after tat came the steak.. i quite enjoy mine cos it was medium cooked and it was nicely cooked. However, my dear dear one was kinda undercooked and it ended up like medium rare cooked nia... I asked him whether he wanted to change the steak but he insisted that it was fine. It was only at the last part whereby our steak are almost finished that he finally agreed to change with me after i insist on changing. Well, i think he enjoyed my steak more.. But as for me.. hmm .. i quite enjoy the the medium rare cooked steak. Seems like it taste more juicy than my medium cooked steak. Gee... mayb i like it bloody.. :P
Well, after the dinner... we decided to watch a movie and he kept asking me to pick 1 out of the 2 choices i.e License to wed and Bourne Ultimatium. Well, i tried to get him to play scissors, papers, stone with me to decide the movie. but then he die die insist on me picking 1..
Therefore, i chose License to wed... well.. entertaining movie but some of the scene quite lame..
Overall, it was alright. but i know that dear dear still desire to watch Bourne U. Nvm.. will watch with him this weekend to make him happy.
After the movie, i insisted on taking a photo to keep as memory, found a nice spot to take.. but then eventually, we felt that it was not neccessary after all cos we are taking those big head photos, so it means that we can't see the background at all... Gee.. the photo is still with him.. once i got it from him.. i will upload here.
I must say that i really enjoy my 1st anniversary although it was a real simple one... but that is not important. The important part is that i am celebrating with him.. I hope to celebrate with him every year... our special day...
& FYI... i bought him a Braun Buffel belt... and that was chosen by him... :D
